Family Owned and Operated Since 1984

Keeven Heating and Cooling was established on April 4, 1984 by Ron and Lois Keeven. The company originally serviced the St. Louis area where Ron has many long time satisfied customers. In 1988, the office moved to the family farm in New Haven, MO. Larry Keeven joined his father, Ron, full time in 1987. At this time the company had only two trucks. Mike Keeven joined in 1990, and the business family continued to grow. The current office is 1,000 square feet, with 3,500 square feet of operating shop space and 2,000 square feet of fitting and equipment storage. As of March 2000, the company has 13 employees and ten trucks on the road daily. The trucks are dispatched by cellular phones to ensure prompt service. We now serve Franklin, St. Louis, an all surrounding counties for residential and commercial installation and service.

We handle Florida Heat Pump, Amana, Goodman and Lennox brands of heating and cooling products. This includes furnaces, air conditioners, hanging heater, heat pumps, humidifiers, damper systems, electric air cleaners and programmable thermostats. When it comes to ground source / geothermal equipment, we handle well or loop systems. Boilers, infra-red heaters, exhaust systems, forced air ducting, spiral, rectangular, and custom duct work are among many of the other services we provide. We fabricate all our own duct work in our shop with full insulation and pin spotting capabilities. In 2003, we added on a 120' x 70' warehouse addition to accommodate storage of equipment and materials and a loading dock capable of handling large tractor trailers.

Since 2008, we now offer horizontal boring (minimal excavation) for out GeoThermal system customers. We have installed the loop systems under gardens, under sheds, and are capable of many other custom installations for GeoThermal systems.

Although the company has been computerized for many years, in 1996 we added a program for service dispatching to our existing system. This program enables us to not only provide faster service, but it also allows us to access customer service records more quickly. As of 1998, we have a 5 station computer network system with internet access.

We specialize in total comfort systems and love a challenge. Along with their other responsibilities, Ron, Larry, and Mike do the majority of the estimating. We have no salespeople. Our service technicians do service, installation, and clean-up. One of the long standing traditions at Keeven is that we leave your property clean, if not cleaner than we found it. Our technicians clean up their mess, one small thing that is recognized and appreciated by many of our customers.
